Party supplies are cheap per unit and easy to find in Yiwu. The risk is timing. Seasonal goods are ordered months before the holiday, and stock that lands late is hard to sell. Christmas and holiday decorations
Ornaments, garlands, tree toppers and wreaths. Glass and shatterproof ornaments ship very differently, so the material changes both freight and damage.Party tableware and decorations

We do not source toys or baby products. Balloons and party favors made for children to play with belong to that group, so they stay out of party orders.

MOQ and price
Minimum orders and what drives the price
In the market, sellers price by the carton and mixed orders are normal. On 1688 the listed minimum can be low. In our MOQ study, 7 of 10 candle holder rows listed two units or fewer. Printed or custom items start at a production run that the seller confirms.
Prices and lead times move with the season. Sellers are busiest in the months before Christmas, and slots for custom printing fill first. Ordering early gives you more room to fix a sample.
Freight is the other driver. Many party goods are light and bulky, so carton size matters more than weight. Listing data rarely settles it. In our shipping-weight study, only 45 of 120 top-ranked listings gave complete package dimensions, so we ask for carton sizes before we quote.
Decorative lights show a wide price spread. In our image-search pilot, all four LED strip light listings we started from had a cheaper visual match. For anything electrical we compare the documents before the price.

Most decorations are general consumer products. Lights and candles carry specific rules, so they get their own check.

CPSC treats seasonal and decorative lighting as a substantial product hazard when it lacks minimum wire size, strain relief or overcurrent protection.

Metal-cored wicks must stay under CPSC's lead limit, and the importer issues a certificate for that rule.
European Union, decorations
Decorations and party goods sold to consumers fall under the General Product Safety Regulation (EU) 2023/988.

Mains-powered lights also fall under the Low Voltage Directive and need CE marking.
United Kingdom
UK product safety law applies, and electrical items need UKCA or CE marking.

The quote is free. If we find the supplier, the fee is 5% on the first $5,000 of goods, 4% up to $20,000 and 3% above, with a $49 minimum. If you already have a supplier, order follow-up is 3%.
You pay Supplymo by bank transfer to our WorldFirst account. You never pay a supplier directly, and nothing is paid to one without your written approval.
When should I order Christmas stock from China?
Start from your on-shelf date and count back through transit, inspection and the seller's production time. We put that latest order date on the quote. Sellers get busy before the holiday, so earlier is safer.
Can I mix many party products in one order?
Yes. Mixed orders are normal in Yiwu. We buy from several stalls and sellers, count everything at our partner warehouse and ship it together.
Do you source balloons and party favors?
Not when they are made for children to play with. We do not source toys or baby products, and balloons and many favors fall in that group. Tableware and decorations are fine.
Do decorative lights need certification?
It depends on the market. The US has CPSC rules on wire size, strain relief and overcurrent protection for seasonal lights. The EU covers mains-powered lights under the Low Voltage Directive. We ask the seller for test reports and tell you what we cannot verify.
Can you print my own designs?
Yes, on paper tableware, banners and packaging. Custom printing raises the minimum order and needs a sample round, so start early in the season.
How much do you charge to source party supplies?
The quote is free. Our service fee is 5% down to 3% of the goods value with a $49 minimum, and there is no markup on supplier prices. Samples-only orders have no service fee.
