Fees
What we charge, and what is free.
How much does Supplymo charge?
The landed-cost quote is free. If we find the supplier, the fee is 5% on the first $5,000 of goods, 4% up to $20,000 and 3% above that. If you bring the supplier, it is 3%. The minimum is $49 per order.
Do you add a markup to supplier prices?
No. The supplier price and our fee are separate lines on your quote, and we do not take commissions from factories. If 1688 gives a rebate, points or credit on your order, it goes back to you.
How is the 5%, 4% and 3% fee calculated?
In bands, like tax brackets. On a $6,000 order we charge 5% on the first $5,000 and 4% on the next $1,000, which is $290. Crossing into a lower band never raises the rate on the part below it.
Is there a minimum order value?
No. When our service fee applies, it is at least $49 per order. Suppliers set their own minimum quantities, and we tell you which ones accept small first orders.
Do samples cost a service fee?
No. An order for samples only has no service fee. You pay the sample price and the shipping.
Payment
When you pay, how, and at which rate.
When and how do I pay?
You pay in step with the supplier. 1688 sellers are paid in full when we order, so for those the goods and our fee are due when you approve the quote. Factories usually take a deposit, often 30%, and the balance before the goods leave the factory. You pay the deposit and our fee when you approve, and the balance when the supplier asks for it. Want the goods checked before the balance is paid? We can add a factory inspection, quoted separately. Freight is paid before the goods ship from Yiwu. You pay Supplymo by bank transfer to our WorldFirst account. You never pay a supplier directly.
How do I know the bank account is really yours?
Our WorldFirst account is in the name of United Profit Import and Export Co., Ltd., the company registered in Yiwu that runs Supplymo. We will never ask you to pay a different account by email. If a message says our bank details changed, check with us on WhatsApp first.
Which exchange rate do you use?
If you pay in USD or another currency, we convert at the mid-market rate at the time of the quote, less 2% to cover currency costs. Both rates are written on your quote and stay fixed for 7 days.
What if something goes wrong after I pay?
You pay Supplymo and never a supplier directly. That includes repeat orders. Cancel before we pay a supplier and you get a full refund minus any bank fees on the transfer. After a supplier is paid the refund depends on what the supplier agrees to return minus costs already spent. If our arrival check misses a problem it should have caught, that is on us. We replace or refund the affected units. Our refund and cancellation policy page lists each stage.
Suppliers and samples
Where we look, and testing before you commit.
Where do you find suppliers?
On 1688, on Alibaba and in the Yiwu market, plus suppliers we have already worked with.
Can you work from a photo?
Yes. We use image search on 1688 and Alibaba and confirm matches with the suppliers.
How many supplier options will I get?
Usually three in the quote, after we drop the ones that fail basic checks.
Can I get samples first?
Yes. We order samples from one or more suppliers and send them to you after comparing them. An order for samples only has no service fee. You pay the sample price and the shipping.

Often, yes. Suppliers set their own minimum quantities, and we tell you which ones accept small first orders. When our service fee applies, it is at least $49 per order.
Quality checks
What we check in Yiwu, and what we do not.
Do you check the goods?
Every order is counted and photographed at our partner warehouse in Yiwu. Full factory inspections are quoted separately.
What happens if the goods are wrong?
We send you photos and ask the supplier to fix, replace or discount before anything ships.
What if your check misses a problem?
If our arrival check misses a problem it should have caught, that is on us. We replace or refund the affected units.
Is a photo check the same as a full inspection?
No. Counting and photographing on arrival is a basic visual check. It is not a full third-party inspection, a compliance test or a quality guarantee. Factory inspection or AQL sampling is quoted separately.
Can you consolidate goods from several suppliers?
Yes. That is the normal case. Storage is free for 30 days while we consolidate.
Shipping and duties

Which shipping options do you offer?
Express, air freight, sea freight and DDP lines where available. You choose after seeing costs and typical transit times.
How do you estimate duty and VAT?
From the HS code and your country's published tariff, with the source shown on your quote. The final amount is set by your customs authority.
Do you guarantee delivery dates?
No. Transit times are typical ranges from carriers, and customs checks or peak seasons can add days.
Can I use my own freight forwarder?
Yes. We prepare the cartons and packing list and hand them over.
Can you ship single orders to my customers?
We don't ship single orders to your customers. We send stock in bulk to you, your warehouse or your fulfilment partner.

How can I verify Supplymo is real?
Supplymo is run by United Profit Import and Export Co., Ltd., registered in Yiwu on 29 November 2024. Search our Unified Social Credit Code, 91330782MAE50WWN6A, on gsxt.gov.cn. That is China's National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System. The record is in Chinese and shows our Chinese name, 义乌市连盈国际贸易有限公司. The registered address on the record is Room 209-6, 2F, Building A8, Heyi E-commerce Park, No. 588 Chunhua Road, Beiyuan Street, Yiwu, Zhejiang, China. Our About page has the same details and a copy of the business licence.
Why not just buy on Alibaba myself?
You can. We are useful when you want several suppliers compared, goods checked in China and one landed cost before you commit.
Why use 1688 at all?
Domestic sellers on 1688 are often cheaper than export listings, but they sell in Chinese and ship only inside China. We handle both.
What products can you not ship?
We don't source toys or baby products. We also can't handle counterfeit or branded goods without authorization, and some batteries, liquids and regulated items need extra checks. We flag these before you pay.
