Common questions before quote approval
What's the difference between self-order and assisted?
If you place the 1688 order yourself and just ship to our China warehouse, there is no service fee — we act as your warehouse and you pay only logistics and any add-ons. If you want us to find, verify, negotiate, and order for you, that assisted service is 5% of order value (min $79).
Is there really no fee if I order myself?
Correct. Used as a pure China warehouse and forwarder, Supplymo charges no commission on your goods. We earn only on the international shipping and the add-on services you choose.
What exactly does the 5% cover?
The 5% (minimum $79) is for the full assisted path: sourcing, supplier checks, negotiation, placing and paying for the order, China-side receiving, photos, and coordination. It is 5% of the order value (the goods cost) and does not include the product cost itself, prep add-ons, or international shipping.
Is the $29 report wasted if I go ahead?
No. If you proceed to an order, the $29 report fee is credited 100% toward that order — so the report acts as a deposit, not an extra cost.
Why is there a $79 minimum on the 5%?
On small assisted orders, 5% would not cover the real China-side labor (sourcing, ordering, receiving, photos, coordination). The minimum keeps small orders viable; above roughly $1,580 of order value the 5% simply applies.
Are the add-on prices fixed?
The add-on unit prices shown are indicative. Your exact total is confirmed on the quote once quantity and product are clear — but they are itemized, never a hidden bundle.
Does Supplymo mark up the product price?
No. Product cost is passed through at the supplier price on both paths. Any fee is the visible service fee (0% self-order / 5% assisted) plus the add-ons you choose.
Why is international shipping not a fixed number?
Shipping depends on actual packed weight, carton dimensions, destination, route, consolidation, and restrictions. It is finalized after receiving and packing, with an estimator available up front.
