What we don't source, and what needs documents

Products we don't source

We say no to these before any quote, and documents or test reports won't change that.

  • Toys and baby products

We don't source them, even when the supplier has test reports.

  • Fake or copied brands

Replicas, or brands you can't show written permission for.

  • Weapons and tactical gear

    Weapons and ammunition, including parts.

  • Drugs and controlled substances

Including the tools used with them.

  • Dangerous goods

Explosive or flammable items without approval.

  • Sanctioned parties

Products or suppliers tied to sanctioned parties or regions.

  • Protected wildlife

Ivory and parts of endangered animals.

  • Illegal devices

Stolen or smuggled goods, and hidden spy devices.

  • Goods that need a permit

Products that need a licence you can't show us.

Products we check by hand first

A closer look is not a yes. We may ask for documents, then quote or say no.

  • Batteries and powered electronics

Carriers limit them, and most need test documents.

  • Liquids, powders, gels and aerosols

They can leak, and carriers often ask for a safety data sheet.

  • Cosmetics and skincare

Ingredients and labels must meet the rules where you sell.

  • Food, drinks and supplements

Health authorities and platforms set their own limits.

  • Medical devices and health claims

Claims need documents, and platforms restrict them.

  • Other children's products

Kids' clothing and school items need safety tests and labels.

  • Jewellery, watches and luxury goods

We check the brand and the material.

  • Beauty devices and lasers

Electrical safety and certification come first.

  • Adult products and mystery boxes

Platforms and payment providers often restrict them.

Find and confirm the product before screening restrictions

Use a link, image or product name. The confirmed match supplies product context only; battery, liquid, brand, material, HS and destination rules still need explicit review.

When to stop

  • Stop if platform, carrier, destination, or document review rejects the product.

What must be true to go ahead

  • Product category, destination, sales channel, and route are clearly described
  • Supplier documents match the product being purchased
  • Buyer accepts that Supplymo does not guarantee platform approval, carrier acceptance, import legality, or compliance

Official pages to read

These official pages match your destination and product type. They show where the rules live. They do not approve this product or shipment.

We have no official page listed for this destination and product type yet. Ask us for a closer look, and don't assume it is allowed.

How to read the result

Not acceptedThe product is on our no list, like toys or copied brands. Documents don't change this answer.
Needs a closer lookSomething needs checking first, such as a battery or a brand logo. Send us the documents and we check them by hand before any quote.
UnknownNothing flagged the product yet, and that is not a yes. Add the destination and HS code so the checker can look up the import rules.
One line per set of rulesEach line covers one set of rules, from import rules to our own list. The strictest answer wins.

When to use it

Use it before you pay a supplier. It matters most when the product has a battery or a brand logo.

It also helps when a marketplace or 3PL has refused a product and you want to see why.

Where the rules live

These official pages show where a rule starts. They don't prove that one 1688 product can be imported or sold.

Restricted products FAQ

Can you source toys or baby products?

No. We don't source toys or baby products, even when the supplier has test reports.

Can Supplymo buy branded products from 1688?

Only with written permission from the brand owner. We don't handle copied or unclear brands.

Can Supplymo buy cosmetics or skincare?

Sometimes. We need the ingredient list and the label. The rules where you sell also have to allow it.

Can Supplymo ship batteries, liquids, powders or magnets?

Maybe. We check them by hand first. A carrier or customs can still refuse them.

Does "Needs a closer look" mean the product is safe to sell?

No. It means we need more facts before we say yes or no.

Who is responsible for compliance?

You are, as the importer. That covers customs and your marketplace's rules.
