Find and confirm the product before reviewing HS candidates

Use a link, image or product name. The confirmed product becomes a classification clue only; material, construction, intended use and national tariff detail still decide the usable code.

How to read the result

The HS code is a candidateThe first six digits are the same in every country. Your destination adds more digits, and those decide the rate. Check the match level shown next to each code.
The rate comes with a source and a dateOpen the linked tariff page and confirm the full destination code before you use the number in a quote.
Missing facts block the amountIf material, use or the full code is unknown, the tool shows what is missing instead of a number.
Extra measures are listed separatelyAnti-dumping or US Section 301 duties can sit on top of the base rate. Treat them as open until you check them.

HS code and import duty questions

Does this give me the exact import duty rate?

No. It shows the rate recorded in the source we use, when there is one. The full destination code, extra trade measures, preference rules and restrictions can all change what you pay. The result is not a binding customs ruling.

Can I trust the HS code a 1688 supplier gives me?

Treat it as a clue. Supplier codes are often cut short at six digits or copied from another market. Compare the description with your destination tariff and ask the supplier what the product is made of.

Which destinations can I check?

The United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, South Korea, Indonesia and Vietnam. Other destinations are not mapped to a generic fallback.

Can I paste a 1688 link or upload a product photo?

Yes. A direct 1688 product link is read into a product card. A JPG or PNG up to 5 MB goes to 1688 image search only after you agree to that. For links from other stores, ask us for a free supplier check. You still confirm the product and pick an HS candidate yourself.

Can Supplymo replace a customs broker?

No. We help you gather the product facts before you pay and point you to the official tariff. Final classification and customs treatment stay with the importer, the customs authority and your broker.

Reference definition

An HS6 code is a shared starting point, not the final import classification

The Harmonized System gives customs authorities a shared six-digit product classification. Importing markets then extend that base into national tariff lines such as HTS, TARIC or commodity codes. A code supplied on a Chinese listing may describe a China export declaration, stop at six digits or miss the material and use that control the destination classification. Compare the product facts with the destination authority's current tariff before using any code in a duty or landed-cost decision.

What it does not tell you

Supplymo can narrow the classification path and show official lookup sources. It cannot issue a binding customs ruling or guarantee the duty, admissibility or clearance result.

A six-digit HS code is an international classification starting point. The importing market's national tariff line and the product's actual material, construction and use determine the duty path that still needs official review.

Not sure the code is right?

Send the product, the material and where it ships. Bobby checks the description against the destination tariff and tells you which codes to confirm with your broker. Final classification stays with the importer and the customs authority.
