Product clue
Find and confirm the product before reviewing HS candidates
Use a link, image or product name. The confirmed product becomes a classification clue only; material, construction, intended use and national tariff detail still decide the usable code.
Describe the product, enter a 4–10 digit HS code, paste a direct 1688 product link, or add a photo
Use a 1688 link, image, or product name here. Open Product Check for other product links.
Use the customs value you intend to verify. This field is treated as CAD for Canada.
Canada import in practice
What changes landed cost to Canada
Canada charges GST/HST and possible duty on imports, with limited low-value relief for courier shipments. A low 1688 price is only the start of your real landed cost.
Low-value relief is narrow
Under CUSMA, courier shipments may see duty relief under CA$150 and tax relief under CA$40, but this does not apply to all shipments or origins. Goods from China are not automatically tax-free — assume GST/HST can apply.
GST/HST plus duty, by province
GST (5%) or HST (up to 15% depending on province) applies on most imports, plus possible Customs Duty based on tariff classification and origin. The CBSA duty/tax estimator is the entry point.
Clearing customs is not permission to sell
Health Canada, CCPSA product-safety, and labelling rules still apply. 1688 listing claims do not prove Canadian compliance for children's products, electronics, or cosmetics.
Official sources
For sourcing planning only. GST/HST, Customs Duty, tariff classification, province, and origin can change the final amount — confirm with the CBSA or a customs broker before paying a supplier.

Local tool FAQ
Is this market page just a translation?
No. The URL, metadata, language, FAQ, and CTA keep the market context so the buyer can move into a local product check or support path.
Can this tool give a final quote or official result?
No. It helps prepare the decision before supplier payment. Final freight, duty, tax, restricted-goods handling, and delivery outcomes depend on reviewed facts and official or carrier rules.
What should I do after using the tool?
Submit the product link, quantity, destination, package data, and any risk signals so Supplymo can prepare a written check or route the case to support.
